This afternoon we headed to the Kings Theatre Portsmouth to see Peppa Pig's Big Family Show, and while Mason has sadly grown out of Peppa Pig these days, our lovely little friend Scarlett is a huge fan, so she was absolutely delighted to come along and give us her verdict from a little one's perspective!

We were kindly invited along to opening night of Avenue Q at Theatre Royal and, because this is definitely not one for the kids, I took the opportunity to grab a mum friend and enjoy a much needed half term girls night out!The first thing we noticed was the real buzz around the theatre. The audience was a lovely mix of musical theatre fans, supporters of Portsmouth theatre, and curious first timers ready to see what all the fuss about Avenue Q is really about.

We were recently kindly gifted the Speed Track to try out, and it’s safe to say Mason absolutely loved it and honestly, so did the adults!

Everyone who follows our family adventures knows how much we adore the Kings, but there is something uniquely magical about the Pompey Panto every single year. And this year’s offering didn’t just deliver that magic, it sprinkled it absolutely everywhere.

Stepping Back in Time at Milestones Museum

This year, we fancied going somewhere different for our annual pumpkin-picking adventure and wow, are we glad we did! After hearing so many amazing things about Sunnyfields Farm in Southampton, we decided to give it a try. The final push? When we heard they had created a massive pumpkin portrait tribute to Ozzy Osbourne! We’re huge Osbourne fans, so that completely sold it for us.
