We were invited along to Coral Reef Waterworld’s annual Content Creator Evening, which is a really special event as it’s the only day each year that cameras are allowed inside the pool area! It was such a fun opportunity to capture the experience and give those of you who haven’t visited before a proper sneak peek at everything this incredible indoor water park in Berkshire has to offer.
First Impressions of Coral Reef Waterworld Bracknell
The moment you walk into Coral Reef Waterworld, it’s clear this isn’t your average swimming pool.
Standing proudly in the centre is Coralina, the full-size pirate ship complete with water cannons that spray into the pool below. It instantly creates that exciting “wow” moment for children (and adults too!).
If you’re visiting with younger children or toddlers, you’ll love Little Corals, a dedicated shallow splash area featuring a mini slide, interactive water play and plenty of space for little ones to explore safely. It’s one of the reasons Coral Reef is such a fantastic family attraction in Berkshire.
The Five Epic Water Slides
The biggest attraction for us had to be the famous Coral Reef water slides.
We’d heard so many people recommend them and they absolutely lived up to the hype. In fact, we loved them so much we rode every single one…more than once!
Coral Reef Waterworld is home to five thrilling slides:
● Aqua Splash – A fun interactive family body slide where you hit illuminated targets to score points.
● Storm Chaser – A ring slide where you can customise the colours and sounds before launching into twists and turns.
● Maelstrom – A large inflatable raft ride packed with giant cones, drops and fast corners.
● The Cannon – A 67-metre high-speed body slide perfect for adrenaline lovers.
● Poseidon’s Peril – A unique bowl slide with colourful light effects before an exciting splashdown.
Whether you’re introducing children to their first water slide or chasing an adrenaline rush yourself, there’s something for every confidence level. The lifeguards are fantastic too and are always happy to help you decide which slide is best suited to you.
More Than Just Water Slides
Although the slides are the main attraction, there’s plenty more to enjoy.
The leisure pool includes:
- Rapid river channels
- An erupting volcano
- Interactive splash features
- Water cannons
- A heated outdoor pool that you can only reach by swimming outside from the indoor pool
It really feels like a indoor water park, making it one of our favourite family days out near Hampshire.
Our Honest Coral Reef Waterworld Review
Mason has always loved the water, we’re convinced he must be part fish!
Watching him smile from the moment we arrived until the moment we left was the highlight of our visit. He honestly didn’t stop laughing all evening.
The overall standard at Coral Reef is incredibly high. If you’ve visited Alton Towers Waterpark, that’s the sort of quality and experience you can expect here.
Everything was clean, well maintained and professionally run, while the lifeguards were friendly, approachable and always visible around the pools.
We honestly can’t wait to come back. With it being only around an hour from our part of Hampshire, it’s well worth the journey and we’ll definitely be returning throughout the summer and probably the autumn and winter too!

Parking
There is a large pay-and-display car park directly outside Coral Reef Waterworld.
Parking charges apply and are operated by Bracknell Forest Council. Prices can change, but at the time of writing, visitors should expect to pay approximately:

- Up to 6 hours – around £6
- All day – around £8
Blue Badge parking is available.
